Job Description

At Ahuora, our Portfolio Managers drive investment strategy across multiple asset classes, managing both performance and risk to deliver sustainable returns. Working closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and technologists, this role involves leveraging market insights, advanced analytics, and sophisticated trading models to make data-driven decisions that align with Ahuora’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Investment Strategies: Design, implement, and manage robust portfolio strategies that capitalize on market opportunities and align with our risk tolerance and return targets.

  • Risk Management: Identify, monitor, and actively manage portfolio risks in real time, employing quantitative and qualitative methodologies to ensure sound positioning.

  • Performance Analysis: Continuously evaluate portfolio returns and market conditions, making data-informed adjustments to optimize outcomes.

  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with quantitative researchers, traders, and software engineers to refine models, improve trading infrastructure, and enhance overall investment performance.

  • Strategic Contribution: Engage with leadership to set firm-wide investment objectives, propose new strategies, and participate in the planning of long-term business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a portfolio management or lead investment role, ideally within a quantitative or systematic trading environment

  • Demonstrated track record of successful investment performance across diverse asset classes

  • Deep understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management practices

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience leveraging large datasets, AI methods, and data-driven insights

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of driving collaborative efforts within cross-functional teams

  • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: $150,000 – $300,000, subject to applicable laws and regulations
